MISSION STATEMENT
The Housing Authority's mission is to provide for nearly 12,000 public housing
residents and 21,000 Section 8 participants. A primary goal of the Authority is to
continue to provide housing for these low-income households, while integrating
housing and economic opportunities for residents and maintaining high standards
of property management, fiscal management and service delivery. The mission
of the Authority is achieved through collaboration with our residents and the
greater community emphasizing teamwork, mutual respect, integrity and
accountability.

Section 8 Program
There is a new and easy way for landlords to list their home on the
rental market. If you are a landlord, you can now apply and register
your property online. Once on the Section 8 Housing List, your property
will be made available for the participants of the program.

Section 8 Program
The Project-Based Voucher Program allows property owners to increase and
provide affordable housing to low-income individuals and families
throughout San Francisco. Property owners must meet requirements and
selection criteria to be eligible for this federal subsidy.

San Francisco Food Bank To Distribute 500,000th Food Box
he San Francisco Food Bank took over the Commodity Supplemental Food Box Program (CSFP) in June 2004 and since then the Food Bank has served almost 500,000 seniors through this program.
